DOTTED LINE…

Invoking this command from the DRAW menu, or clicking the command button whose icon you see depicted on this card, draws a vertical or horizontal dotted line, and creates a transparent button in the left margin which will, when clicked, recreate that same line. 

This command is like the STRAIGHT LINE… command, except that the line created, and recreated, is dotted. 
This is useful when more than one contrasting form of underlining, strikethrough or sidelining is wanted. For a full discussion, see the STRAIGHT LINE… command.
